Common questions
How long does it take to set up?+
About 5–10 minutes from signup to a live site. The longest step is filling in your guest list — and you can re-upload anytime.
Can I update the guest list after the site is live?+
Yes — unlimited revisions until your event date. Re-upload the CSV or edit rows directly in your dashboard. Changes go live instantly.
What CSV format do you need?+
Three columns: table, name, partyid. Party ID groups people sitting together (e.g. a couple, a family) so guests see their whole party in one place. We download a template inside the wizard.
What if guests can't spell a name?+
Search is fuzzy — it ignores accents, capitalization, and partial matches. Type 'aar' and you'll find 'Aarav'. If two guests share a name, we show their party for disambiguation.
How long do you host my site?+
Through your event date plus 14 days of grace period. Long enough for guests who saved the link to revisit, short enough that we're not hosting your data forever.
Do I need the Concierge tier for a custom floorplan?+
Yes. The interactive venue floorplan is hand-built per couple because every banquet hall is different. Quick and Standard tiers use a clean list view.
Can guests RSVP through the site?+
Not yet — Seatd is focused on the day-of seating experience. Use Zola or The Knot for RSVPs, then send us the finalized list.
Is my guest list private?+
Yes. Only people with your URL can see it, and we don't index it for search. Guest data is isolated per couple at the database level.
